Seeds of South Sudan Scholar Amou Mamer Thuch taught in South Sudan for a year after graduating from a top high school in Kenya. Since 2020, Amou has been teaching high school English at the Kakuma Refugee Camp. She recently won an Albert Einstein German Academic Refugee Initiative (DAFI) to obtain an undergraduate degree. She will earn a Diploma in Journalism at Multimedia University of Kenya in Nairobi. This brief video shows her teaching students about adjectives and adverbs in English, the refugees' third language. Congratulations Amou - you are helping your fellow refugees. With your university degree, you will play an important role in rebuilding South Sudan! Started By a Lost Boy of Sudan, Seeds has now educated more than 140 students.
