This is part two of our series exploring the Fehmarn Belt Fixed Link, Europe's newest underwater tunnel, which will aid in faster rail and vehicle traffic between Denmark and Germany.

In this video, we explore the dredging operation to accommodate the new tunnel, including the tunnel trench, land reclamation, and the construction of the work harbor. Two of the largest marine contractors—Boskalis and Van Oord—are on the scene making it happen.
