It's finally the end of my breast cancer treatment journey! I really hope I never have to do this again. This port removal surgery was no joke. Please don't do it under local anaesthetic. I honestly thought I was ready to put breast cancer behind me but this two years of treatment has taken a toll on my mind and body.
Breast cancer has changed me forever, but I am looking forward to living my best post-cancer life after this port removal surgery. I can’t believe it’s the final part of my active breast cancer treatment!
