Why remain married if the children are going to watch the worst qualities of their parents. Fighting, swearing, yelling, abusing etc. The child will grow up with those bad qualities at the back of his or her mind and may reenact that exact behaviour in marriage later.
So make a wise decision. You might want to separate for the sake of the children.
