This piece Mazeppa, is actually one of the famous pieces ever written from Liszt! It was inspired by a poem of a guy strapped to a horse naked while the horse galloped across Europe to pay for his sins, then he became famous and declared as king. This Ètude 2nd hardest of all the Transcendental Ètudes, with the next song Feux Follets, No 5 being the hardest. Lemme know which piece should be next!
