It was a quick weekend getaway after my last work trip to Norway as part of the project I've been working on at the University of Stavanger.
My husband decided to fly over and we went on an adventure to Bergen. Being the end of Nov we were lucky and manged to catch the famous Bergen Julemarked (Christmas market).
It was cold and dark with an occasional rain shower -- so typical winter weather in Bergen...so I'm told. After strolling around town we headed to the market to see what was on offer. There were beautiful crafts, tasty treats, and so much food. But we resisited temptation until I saw honey glogg. I love honey and I'd never seen a honey glogg before...it was lovely. Warm, spicy, and sweet. Perfect on a cold evening.
