This is my first day of cutting on this new machine. It was delivered at the beginning of February, but with the move and getting the shop set up, I was only able to coordinate a tech to do the setup last week.
I will be making many of my knife components on pallets. To that end, I selected the 5th Axis Rocklock multiposition base to facilitate quick swaps between the pallets and vises. The pallets are being machined from 8"x12"x1.5" 6061 aluminum and are clamped in a pair of 5th Axis DV510 vises setup for single station use.
