Olympic medalist Lacey John was obsessed with shaving time off of her swimming record until she became the best. Now she’s finding other areas of her life to improve. Visit https://bit.ly/2Y6iOFW
Lacey wouldn’t call herself a competitive person, but she pushed herself to be the best she could be at swimming, down to the hundredth of a second. Since she was so caught up in becoming better, she soon became one of the best swimmers on her team, in the state, in the country, and eventually the world. Swimming was her world, and now she is 25 and starting her very first job. She is a manager of 30 to 40 college students. Looking at the different paths that were available to her, she wanted to fulfill her potential as a woman by starting a family and having a teammate who would be there no matter what. In college Lacey had a hard time connecting to people because the party scene was so big. At first her teammates had a hard time accepting the fact that she didn’t party, but eventually that turned into respect. Lacey's faith is her foundation. She believes she has a marriage relationship that goes far deeper than any medal. Lacey is an Arizona Wildcat for life, is married and is an Olympic silver medalist.
