In this comparison video, I am looking at Opencart vs WooCommerce, which are two of the most popular, open source platforms for building an ecommerce website.

One thing I didn't cover in the video was one of the main differences between these two platforms.

Opencart is a purpose built piece of ecommerce software and other features such as a blog etc are an additional feature that you need to install.

WooCommerce on the other hand is a plugin for the WordPress CMS and adds ecommerce functionality to the world's most popular website builder.
