How to plan a PPP lesson in ELT

In this video I explain how to plan the 3 stages of a PPP lesson which teaches our ELT students vocabulary or grammar. In my 20-year experience I have found planning the lesson in thirds helps to clarify the stages - I present the language (Elicit, demo, CCQ it & board the language) the controlled practice consists of 1-2 tasks to help them understand it + work on their accuracy + the last third is production (freer practice). These elements are vital + the plan in thirds method works especially if you start with the end task (production) + work your way back through your plan.
