HO Scale: Passenger Train Prep (pt 2)

Hope everyone had a great Halloween, now with my Halloween specials out of the way, it's back to business. Continuing on from a couple weeks ago from the Steam Ops, we have UP 1616 staging the passenger train that the Big Boy is going to be hauling on it's fan trip. When we last saw the 1616, it was moving the two UP water tenders into position behind the 4014 while it was being serviced. Now that the passenger cars are ready, it's job now is to pull them out to the mainlines where they will then be joined by the Big Boy... but not before a special guest makes it's presence known.

In the next episode of this series, that special guest will mate up to the Big Boy and lend it's dynamic braking ability to the old steamer. Then they get underway for some chases across the layout. Not exactly sure how many episodes this series is going to be, I'm literally filming these eps a week or two ahead. Usually I film everything in one go then break them down into separate parts as I edit. However, this time I'm filming as I go. So I'm not even sure where this will go. :D

All right, I'll have the next part of this series next Sunday and once this is done, I'll be starting another Ops Session series from John Acheson's N scale 1970s era Santa Fe model railroad. That is going to be another 3 or 4 part series too. Then Wednesday I'll have one more video from Sugar Creek before changing things up from Spencer and my day of railfanning the KC area.
