A great 15m House Dance class taught by Nubian Nene. Nene's House Dance is a freestyle street dance and social dance that has roots in the underground house music scene that originated in the late 70's and early 80's from underground clubs in Chicago and New York. The style was influenced by several types of movement, including Tap, African dance, Latin dance, and martial arts. House Dance is about freedom, improvisation, and feeling the music. It is typically danced to loud and bass-heavy electronic dance music provided by DJs in nightclubs or at raves.
