Beneath his words though, is the humble, confident demeanor of a person who is mature beyond his years. The wisdom that laces his lyrics typically comes from a person twice his age, making it hard to believe that Mez is only in his twenties. When he started rapping in high school, he went by M-EZ, which eventually got condensed into 'Mez'. Like a graduation, and like the way he shines above his peers, it seems that the addition of "King" to his name is a symbol of greatness to come.
