As we are leaving TT - Ela feels much better - because she was afraid the security would arrest us for filming... Ela's heart rate goes back to normal...

The 99th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade was held on November 27, 2025, in New York City from 8:30 a.m. to noon EST.
The lineup featured 18 giant helium balloons, 33 mid-sized balloons, 29 floats, 33 clown groups, 11 marching bands, nine performance groups, a host of musical stars, and the one-and-only Santa Claus.

On Thanksgiving Day 2025 - Thursday, November 27th 2025 -
Ela woke me up at 6 am by phone call.
She picked me up from bh around 6:40 am.
She drove her car to Hamilton train station.
2 x train tickets = $76.
Train comes2 Hamilton at 7:04 am.
Penn Station at 8:30 am.
Walking for 30 minutes to RADIO CITY - or 2 streets above it -
to 53rd Street & 6th Ave with the view over MOMA -
a big crowd - but we made it for the very beginning (beginning at this point, bc parade started on the West Side Central Park - around 86th Street?).
Very cold, I wore Magda's blue new jacket - but it was still cold -
balloons, floats and bands - passed us for about 2 h on 6th Ave.
Chatgpt says - there were 3.5 million people attending/watching the Parade in person, and millions and millions other people watching it on TV.

Later we walked via the back of MOMA to 5th Ave and up to
Trump Tower - then down/south to
St. Patrick's Cathedral then to
Rockefeller Center with the Ice Land, than to
Sack's if Fifth Ave (window displays), then to
Time Sq, then down/south on Broadway to
Double Decker Carousel - but we did not make this last one because all the streets were closed/barricaded - bc that was where the Parade ended and all the floats landed - so we went around (and in a circle) to 8th Ave - down/south to Penn Station...

Ela bought a pink hat for $15.
