Strictly Yard Music, LLC is proud to release a high energy dancehall track titled TAKE A LIFE, by Boston’s top dancehall artist King Rhymez. The fearless tune is a plea to end senseless violence, or prepare for the wrath of Jah. King Rhymez, also known as Jah Lingo, commands the world’s evildoers to “go apologize to Jah, gimme the rifle yah, and come down on your knees to pray.” Rhymez’s lyrical style is a fast rapping flow, honoring the classic dancehall pattern of Capleton and Jah Mason from the late 90s. The hard hitting riddim also takes one back to the dancehall during the early 2000s.
Additionally, Strictly Yard Music collaborated with Green Lion Crew from Maine, USA to create a unique dancehall dub of the track called DUB A LIFE.
