Intro and Outro for the hearing impaired:
Welcome to the Bead Flora book bead-a-long! The goal is to make this summer wild flowers arrangement. We’re currently working on French beaded brown-eyed-Susans and this is the second lesson.. Hi everyone! My name is Fen Li, designer here at the Bead Flora Studio and author to the book Bead Flora: the revival of French beaded flowers. On this channel, I offer technique reference guides, tip videos, and free French beaded flower tutorials just like this one. If you’re new here and would like to get started, consider subscribing. Check out the playlist for the bead-a-long to get started with learning the techniques. You don’t need to buy the book to make this project because I’ll release the full patterns for this whole arrangement. I did put together a bead kit with all the materials you need to make this arrangement. The book is also part of the Kindle Unlimited program so if you’d like to check it out, you can get a 30 day free trial. Materials and all the links will be in the description. For today’s lesson we will use the Continuous Split Basic technique again and make the cone-shaped center for the brown-eyed-susan.
(Outro)
For the next lesson, we’ll work on the greenery: the leaves and calyx. The next upload will be on Tuesday. If you haven’t already, join me in the French beaded flowers facebook group and share your flowers with other French beaders. If you make any of my flowers, I’d love to see them. Email me pictures of your flowers and I may feature it in a future video! Give this video a thumbs up if you enjoyed this content. Subscribe if you haven’t already and hit the notification bell so you don’t miss a thing. Thanks so much for watching and I’ll see you next week for the next lesson! Bye!
