Courage is not just for heroes. It is a choice we make every day. It is present in each breath we take. We learn courage from parents, mentors, and our darkest moments. Discover your courage, nurture it, and integrate it into your daily life. Dr. Edith Eva Eger published her NY Times best-selling memoir, The Choice, at the age of 90 in 2017. In 2020, during COVID lockdowns, she published her Internationally best-selling guidebook, The Gift. She survived Auschwitz, is a practicing, world-renowned Psychologist, a great-grand-parent to seven, and the embodiment of lighthearted love and positive energy. Both books are translated into 30 languages. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
