SANDUSKY, Ohio (WTVG) -- Let's party like it's 1900 at Toft's, 3717 Venice Rd, Sandusky OH!
Ohio's oldest dairy is hosting a celebration for its 125th anniversary, and you're invited! Saturday, July 19 from 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM, stop by the dairy and ice cream parlor of this family-owned company to enjoy music, games, bounce houses, food trucks, beer, and, of course, ice cream!
There will also be an ice cream eating contest at 3:30 PM. The winner gets a year's worth of Toft's Ice Cream!
Until then, check out this sampling of what goes on behind-the-scenes at the factory and the Ice Cream Parlor. Assistant Vice President and 5th-generation owner, Logan Neisler, shows us around the production facility where the ice cream is packaged up for delivery.
Then, scoopers Aislynn Souza and Gabe Burch serve up a Banana Split and an Ice Cream Flight!
