In keeping with the African custom and tradition, which requires that traditional leadership be informed and consulted before undertaking any activities in their jurisdiction, the ANC is meeting with a number of leaders ahead of its birthday celebrations in the North West province. Earlier today, (Wednesday) ANC President Cyril Ramaphosa met Kgosi Leruo Molotlegi of the Royal Bafokeng nation. This was preceded by a meeting with Kgosi Nyalala Pilane of the Bakgatla ba ga Kgalefa on Monday. Ramaphosa says they discussed the challenges that people are facing and how they can solve them.
