The fourth film covers the origins, Zeitgeist, and trajectory of the pioneering German progressive music bands of the 70s emerging from the Hamburg/Düsseldorf/Cologne region, and its influence on contemporary bands. Developed in Germany in the late 60s and early 70s, and largely divorced from the traditional rock influences of British and American bands, the so-called Krautrock genre contributed to the evolution of electronic music, techno and hip hop, ambient music, minimalism and avant-garde.
