we visit Crystal Lake Mine, both the actual tunnels and the beach in our search for mineral specimens and find the best peristerite around. it has a strong blue schiller and is speckled with smoky quartz crystals. In my experience it is the beach dump at crystal Lake that really delivers and the mine is good for seeing graphic granite, peristerite in-situ and also uranophane seeping down the walls.
