【広隆寺】国宝と重文だらけの寺院！嵐電「太秦広隆寺」駅からすぐ

京都市右京区太秦にある広隆寺へいきました。
京福電気鉄道嵐山本線　通称嵐電の太秦広隆寺駅からすぐ
アクセス抜群のお寺です。

I went to Koryuji Temple in Uzumasa, Ukyo Ward, Kyoto City.
It's a temple with excellent access, located right next to Uzumasa Koryuji Station on the Keifuku Electric Railroad Arashiyama Main Line, commonly known as the Randen.


広隆寺は東映太秦映画村で有名な太秦にあり、真言宗系単立の寺院です
創建当初からこの地にあったものかどうかはわかっておりません。
日本書紀によると秦河勝（はたのかわかつ）が聖徳太子から賜った仏像を本尊としたのが始まりです。
818年に火災に遭いましたが秦氏出身の弘法大師の弟子「道昌僧都」どうしょうそうずによって再興。
その後1150年にも災禍に遭いますが復興。度々の火災にあっても仏像が護持されてきたのは
並々ならぬ信仰の深さと苦労が想像できます。

素晴らしい仏像群は圧巻です！ぜひ拝観して欲しいです・・

Koryuji Temple is an independent Shingon Buddhist temple located in Uzumasa, which is famous for Toei Kyoto Studio Park.
It is not known whether it has been here since its founding.
According to the Nihon Shoki, it began when Hatano Kawakatsu enshrined a Buddha statue given to him by Prince Shotoku as the principal image of the temple.

It was destroyed by fire in 818, but was rebuilt by Dosho Sozu, a disciple of Kobo Daishi, who was from the Hata clan.
It was also destroyed by disaster in 1150, but was rebuilt. The fact that the Buddha statue has been preserved despite repeated fires
gives us an idea of ​​the extraordinary depth of faith and hardship.
