「狗腦寨」位於江西省萍鄉市芦溪县，是一座海拔約530米的小山，緊鄰山口岩水庫。

據當地人說，狗腦寨因山形酷似狗的腦袋而得名。也有一種說法是，早年農民起義軍曾在此安營紮寨，因此取名「狗腦寨」以示紀念。

狗腦寨位於山口岩水庫背面，地勢不高，但風景絕美，被譽為「萍鄉版千島湖」。山頂常年雲霧繚繞，登高可俯瞰水庫與芦溪平原，景色如詩如畫。登山途中設有四個觀景亭，沿途有黃土台階與木棍鋪成的步道，既原始又舒適。

清晨登頂可觀賞壯麗日出與雲海，彷彿行走在水波之上，令人驚嘆。有趣的是，山頂的自動販賣機是靠越野摩托車運送補給物資上去的，這也成為登山者津津樂道的話題。

Gounaozhai is located in Luxi County, Pingxiang City, Jiangxi Province. It is a small mountain with an elevation of about 530 meters, situated next to the Shankouyan Reservoir.

Locals say that Gounaozhai was named because the mountain’s shape resembles a dog’s head. Another story suggests the name commemorates a time when peasant rebels once camped there.

Located behind the Shankouyan Reservoir, Gounaozhai isn’t very tall, but its scenery is stunning, earning it the nickname “Pingxiang’s version of Thousand Island Lake.” The mountaintop is shrouded in mist year-round, and from above, visitors can admire the reservoir and the Luxi plains in a view that resembles a poetic painting.

Along the hiking trail, there are four scenic pavilions. The path is made of yellow earth steps and wooden sticks, blending a rustic and comfortable vibe.

If you reach the summit at dawn, you can witness a magnificent sunrise and sea of clouds, creating the illusion of walking above rippling water, a sight that leaves hikers in awe. Interestingly, the vending machine at the summit is restocked using off-road motorcycles, a quirky detail that’s become a fun topic among hikers.
