Replacement of a 5MT with a 6MT transmission in my 2012 Subaru Impreza. The transmission and matching rear diff came from a 2014 Forester with less than 9000 miles on it.
Parts needed for the swap:
Shifter cables: 35060 and 35060A
Shifter assembly (I got mine on eBay as a whole assembly): 35010VA001 (main shifter), 35053VA000 (cable cover box), 35038VA001 (cover plate), 35022VA020 (shift knob)
2 cushion clamps: 35057TC000
You may need some small hardware to put the plate on the cover, they are either 6mm or 8mm nuts, I forget which.
