What is the best Amplifier for a Fender Rhodes? Do comment what you use or think is the best Fender Rhodes companion.
While moving stuff in my studio, I came across a Leslie speaker I purchased a while ago. I have never tried this with the Rhodes piano, so figured I would test it and create a short video on how it works and what sounds it can create with a Fender Rhodes.
There is an art to recording a Leslie and its not something I am used to. It seems to scoop the mids when the microphone and the cone are not aligned - which I should have accounted for.
My piano has on going restoration so do subscribe if you want to hear it completed.
