First Time in Singapore Day 5: Universal Studio Singapore

Day 5 of our Singapore adventure takes us to Universal Studios Singapore (USS) on Sentosa Island! We learned a huge lesson today: a little bit of strategy goes a long way in a theme park. From walk-on rides in the morning to dodging a massive tropical thunderstorm in the afternoon, here is how our day went down.

🚀 The "Back-to-Front" Strategy
We arrived early and were right at the front of the gates. Instead of following the crowd to the Transformers or Battlestar Galactica rides, we did the opposite. We headed straight to the back of the park!

Because everyone else was stuck in the entrance bottleneck, we managed to knock out 3 major rides with zero wait time. If you’re visiting USS, this is the ultimate hack to save your sanity (and your feet).

⛈️ When the Clouds Roll In...
By noon, the park was buzzing and wait times climbed to 60+ minutes. We managed to squeeze in most of the big hitters and some souvenir shopping before the famous Singapore weather caught up with us.

A massive thunderstorm rolled through, which meant all outdoor attractions had to close for safety. We took that as our cue to dry off and head back to the hotel.

Hydrate: It’s humid! Bring a refillable bottle; there are water stations throughout the park.
