Indian born ex tennis player and now a successful producer and founder of Hyde Park Entertainment explains Indian Cinema and Hollywood and Cinema in detail. He also talks about Indian films, actors, acting and the diversity of screenplay.

Ashok Amritraj: I went to Los Angeles in 1975 to play professional tennis. I played for the LA tennis team for 5 years and till 1981 I continued to play tennis. But filmmaking was something which I loved and since I was a kid growing up in Chennai, watching The Sound of Music 32 times, and I've always loved the movies like many of us. So when I went to Hollywood I was captivated. I absolutely wanted to be in the movie industry. And then 1981 I made the change. First five or six years was incredibly difficult but after that I started to make small films and in 1991 I had a big hit and the last 17 years have been terrific. So it was gradual transition from Tennis to movies...
