This is not only my favorite raid in the Destiny universe, but my one of my favorite gameplay experiences of all time. When this raid first came out the community lost their minds. The opening is mysterious and enjoyable. The oracles/templar force players to become good at the game if they want to progress. The gorgon maze contains so many shenanigans, especially with a fireteam of 6. And Atheon is timeless. This series is for those who played (and play) and loved (and love) what we consider to be one of the best and most misunderstood games ever created. Unfortunately, the end of D1’s servers may be inevitable, but for now, the world of Destiny 1 remains for those who want to experience it.
