The Playground Tour brings dance straight into school playgrounds, meeting children exactly where they are. We believe every child deserves access to high-quality art, and dance offers a unique way of learning that engages the body, imagination, and emotions.
In this video, we explore how the project has supported children’s learning, boosted their confidence, and deepened their engagement with the arts, along with the positive impact it has had on the schools and communities involved.
The Playground Tour is commissioned and produced by The Place, with support from 101 Arts Creation Space, Crawley’s Creative Playground, Dance Reading, Hall for Cornwall, Carn to Cove, DanceEast, and Stanley Arts.
