A Christmas Fantasy - Disneyland 2001

Christmas 2001 at Disneyland. What stands out the most about this is how much everyone really needed this Parade this year, it was just a couple of months after 9-11. That whole Christmas season seemed extra special, we were all pretty shook for the most part, and A Christmas Fantasy was good medicine. It was just a different world. But as for the Parade itself, we saw the premiere of the new Snowmen. Good thing they were cute, because the old ones were as classic as the Toy Soldiers and Reindeer. And they could never replace them rights? (cut to scene of new reindeer that appeared a few years later) This version was also still hanging onto the character flood of 1990's couples. We got Max and Goofy on the Candy House. We lost the Lumiere hood ornament from the Christmas Ball as well as the Dickens float and unit in the finale section.
