In 1993 we made a series of 30 minute programmes covering British Mountain Bike racing and round-ups of the Grundig UCI World Cup Series and World Championships. The series (Mountain Bike Xpress) was broadcast by Sky Sports.
Progs 12 & 13 cover the World Championships in Metabief, France. Here are the DH competitions where the two Junior winners Caroline Chausson and Nicolas Vouilloz who would both go on to dominant the senior categories. While the '93 Senior DH Champions were Giovanna Bonazzi, with a repeat of her '91 success and Mike King, who would also would also take Bronze in 1995.
