🧽 Indoor Unit Cleaning (Wall-mounted part inside your room)
Turn off the power from the switchboard (very important for safety).
Open the front cover of the AC.
Remove the air filters → wash them with normal water (use mild soap if very dirty). Dry them fully before reinstalling.
Clean the evaporator coil (cooling coil) → use a soft brush or coil-cleaning spray (don’t use too much water inside).
Wipe the louvers & cover with a damp cloth.
🌬️ Outdoor Unit Cleaning (Compressor outside the room)
Turn off power supply completely.
Use a brush or blower to remove dust from the fins.
If possible, use a low-pressure water spray to wash the fins (don’t bend them).
Make sure no leaves, dirt, or blockages around the outdoor unit.
⚠️ Safety Tips
Never use high-pressure water directly on indoor unit.
Don’t spray water on electric circuits or boards.
If AC is too dirty or cooling is weak, better call a professional technician for deep cleaning with chemical wash.
