We spent 7 days in the Alsace region of France during December and challenged ourselves to use only train or bus (public transport) to get to the towns! We’d recommend using Strasbourg as a base to spend 3 days in the city and venture out to Colmar, Eguisheim, Selestat, Ribeauville, Obernai, and Mulhouse for the next 4 days.
