MAJOR Brake Upgrades On My Honda Nighthawk 700S!

If you have ridden a vintage motorcycle with spongy brakes you know how bad they feel and perform. My Nighthawk had lots of room for improvement so in this video I swap the stock soft rubber lines for some stainless units before also converting to a modern radial master cylinder for improved feel. These are some fantastic upgrades I highly recommend!

The brake lines came from Spiegler Performance as part of their 3 piece kit offered for many bikes!

After trying the two combinations shown I feel the ideal top line configuration for this MC would be +2" with a 10-20 degree bend.

The brake lines made the biggest difference in feel and performance but the newer radial master cylinder gave me the exact feel I wanted. The one used had a 19mm piston diameter and came from a 2025 Honda CB1000 Hornet SP. There are many radial master cylinder options on ebay so do your research and happy hunting!
