James Koehler and his Tapestries

James Koehler was a tapestry weaver living in northern New Mexico. He was a creator of rich, vibrant tapestries and also educated hundreds of students in the art of tapestry weaving. He passed away unexpectedly on March 4, 2011 at 58 years of age. This video, made 10 years after his death, celebrates his work and looks at some of his inspiration through the eyes of one of his apprentices, Rebecca Mezoff.
