Wole Soyinka, the Nigerian playwright, interviewed by my father, novelist and journalist, D.A.N.Jones.
I don't know many details: where and when, and for which publication or media, but it would have been the mid to late 1980s. D.A.N. Jones wrote for The Listener, The Radio Times, and various literary papers in the UK and the USA. He also wrote the Year in Literature articles for the Encyclopedia Britannica Yearbooks, with special reference to African Literature.
