In this episode, the first weekend of work of the year, we are trying to set the tone for the year ahead. We want the solve the issue of excess water as soon as possible, so we can get on with essential work at the farm, restoring walls, planting fruit trees and vineyards.
After our recent experience with cement pipes and corrugated ones, we’ve opted for the use of corrugated pipes for the most challenging terraces and waterfalls. However, the work didn’t go as planned and we had to pivot our efforts for the weekend.
Instead, we decided to take the digger to the last tank and see what work laid ahead for us there and finally channel the water to the water course.
We’ve also had to deal with a lot of chaos, mice and threats of huge snakes.
