After a day full of Whitewater in Massey ON, serpent river had finally calmed down to a level absent of the scary hole. Even though I had hurt my shoulder (partially torn rotator cuff) and I was attacking it by myself it looked too good to pass up.
I have paddled here before to teach my buddies how to roll and get them accustomed to moving water and boily eddylines there are some fun little surf waves that form at a range of levels below and above this.
