CLARIFICATION:
Microsoft Windows Concepts (MWC), formerly known as Windows Never Released (abbreviated to WNR), is a cult started by jhj22 in 2008. It is where people make fictional Windows bootscreens and (rarely) desktop using programs such as Photoshop or Paint.NET and often compile then into videos and post them to YouTube.
Windows Mockups (WM) is the same as WNR, and was popular in 2017, while people here doing bootscreens frequently. During 2017 there was an increase in "cringy" WNRs. This lead to Aero Community members starting to consider WNR dead, leading to Twiglets1888 starting the Windows Mockups cult, where each idea would usually have accompanying desktops, logon screens or programs too. This would give people a deeper understanding of how the idea may have looked and worked. However, in July 2017 following a drama everyone agreed to end the elitism and return to doing WNRs instead of WMs.
Operating Systems Concepts (OS Concepts, OSC), formerly known as Operating System Mockups (OS Mockups, OSM) is a term for fictional OS, or versions of already existing OS. It might be Windows, Linux, Sviger, Cluster, or any other OS. It is Windows Never Released and Never Released Operating Systems combined.

It is unknown exactly who started the cult, although the first person to create a video under OS Mockups was Neptune98 in 2018, which is now reuploaded to The WNR/NROS Archive Bin. However, this video was scrapped and later replaced with a WNR due to Nept losing interest and time. Other people would go on to create OS Mockups videos, along with OS Mockup Compilations/Collections.

Never Released Operating Systems (usually abbreviated to NROS) is a subcategory of videos started by Luigi2012SM64 in 2017. It follows the same exact principles that WNR does, except its scope is expanded to other operating systems (e.x. OS/2 Warp, Linux, macOS, or any other operating system...).

Windows History with Never Released Versions (WHwNRV) is a video compilation of Windows (past, present and future) versions. It contains both the real and fake versions and real versions are remade.
