This was an interesting meet going into it. Went very good in some parts and very shitty in others. I was coming off from 2 blocks of hypertrophy (5 weeks each), and had another 10 weeks going into it. First 3 weeks went pretty well, but then I went into vacations, and that screwed my training for about 2 weeks. Surprisingly didn't really affect my strength, and I managed to get another 4 weeks of good training, and everything was going well. Bench was highly variable, but I was definitely getting stronger. Where I fucked up again was with my travel to the UK. I was supposed to do my last heavy day on Friday, but I wasn't able to train on Friday, or Saturday, or Sunday. And on Monday, by sheer of bad luck I was only able to go to the gym pretty late and only managed to do my deadlifts. So I had to do the rest on Tuesday. Except Tuesday was my flight again back home, and wasn't able to lift either. When I arrived I was beyond tired, barely had any sleep, there was no way I'd be able to lift anything heavy decently, so I had to delay it to Wednesday. So my Friday session ended up being on Monday+Wednesday, so my taper was totally screwed.
Oddly enough, I actually felt very strong during the meet. Which perhaps indicating that my taper ended up not being that bad, and perhaps I was over doing it prior. Although it may explain my failure on bench too, perhaps the taper ended up being OK for squat and deadlift but the volume was just too little for bench and ended up detraining a bit.
On top of it, likely because I lifted so little, my body felt amazing during the meet. No knee issues, no back issues, no elbow issues, no shoulder issues. Best day I've ever felt in a long time. Usually I'm pretty taxed in my lower back when deadlifts come just from squatting and benching alone, however, in this day my back didn't even felt very fatigued at the very end of the meet.
So overall, the meet prep was decent, and the taper was theorically shit but ended up being OK.
Finishing with 167.5kg squat, 77.5kg bench, and 200kg deadlift, making a 445kg total. It matched my previous meet PR, but this was done at 75kg instead of 82.5kg. And the 200kg was a competition PR as well, my best so far had been 192.5kg.

Squat 1st atttempt - 157.5kg
Didn't feel too confident doing it. Felt heavy on my back and wasn't that great. But the speed was good on video so I decided to keep my plan for my 2nd and go for 162.5.
Squat 2nd attempt - 162.5kg
Was okay'ish but I felt out of position, I titled at the bottom for some reason. I was unsure if I had the 3rd, and since I had the opportunity to have a good meet, I lowered my 3rd slightly just to make sure I had it.
Squat 3rd - 167.5kg
Went fine. Could have done 170kg for sure or a tiny bit more.
----
Bench 1st attempt - 67.5kg
Same as squat, felt heavy and not very confident. But on video looked fine, so kept with the plan.
Bench 2nd attempt - 77.5kg
Went as expected. My original 3rd was 80kg and was a bit conservative, so I decided to bump it to 82.5kg, since at this point I knew I'd PR my Wilks anyway as long as I didn't fail my deadlift opener, which was my main goal.
Bench 3rd attempt - 82.5kg
Failed. I felt like I had a good decent chance at it from the 77.5 attempt, but oh well. I might have had it if I grind it better and drove the bar towards my face more, but I was so focused on putting maximum force into it that it wasn't something I managed to think about. This really demoralized me for the meet. Not only is my bench weak, but now I was even weaker than my normal weakness.

Deadlift 1st attempt - 185kg
Felt amazing strength wise. Lost my positioning a bit but nothing crazy and speed was good.
Deadlift 2nd attempt - 192.5kg
Again felt great. I knew I had 200kg from this. I was even positive I'd probably have a bit more than that. However, 200 has been such a big barrier for me ever since I dropped to the 75kg class, that I really didn't want the slightest possibility of failure, especially with how shitty the bench was.
Deadlift 3rd attempt - 200kg
Couldn't have gone better. Speed was great, I definitely had more in the tank. And also was very pleased with my technique, it looked very solid. In all my meets I always start to have an incredibly hard time maintaining my position with anything over 190, so felt great knowing I made solid progress.
