Carol Waldman’s Bio:

Carol Waldman is a political advocate, community leader, and passionate voice for neurodiversity. Based in San Diego, she has worked for elected officials at the local, state, and federal levels and currently serves as an elected Delegate to the California State Democratic Party, in addition to holding roles on numerous advocacy committees. Carol's work is deeply personal-her oldest son was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, which inspired her commitment to supporting neurodivergent individuals and their families.

In addition to raising three children along with her husband Tom, Carol has led parent support groups at her temple, volunteered with Autism Tree, and held leadership roles in organizations such as Run Women Run and the American Jewish Committee.

Carol has spoken before the San Diego County Board of Supervisors in support of legislation to expand recruitment and training programs for neurodivergent individuals. She continues to advocate for more inclusive workplaces, focusing on awareness, accommodations, and opportunities—especially for neurodivergent young adults.
