Travel Around Bangkok - Part 1

I tried exploring Bangkok using different types of public transportation — the BTS Skytrain, MRT subway, and even the local bus. In part 2, I’ll add boat transportation along the river to complete the experience. From the stunning Wat Arun Temple by the Chao Phraya River to the lively Khaosan Road, I got a real taste of the city right in the middle of the office hour rush! 🏙️

This journey was extra special because it was my first time searching for halal culinary spots in Bangkok. I tried the famous Tom Yum soup 🍲, delicious mango sticky rice 🥭🍚, and flavorful biryani rice 🍛. And when I needed something familiar in an emergency, I ended the day with Fast food.

Tandem with a travel buddy who perfectly complements. Especially when daring ourselves to go to random destinations, taking public transportation for the first time with nothing but Google Maps to guide us. We also complemented each other when it came to payments — whether using cash, QR codes, or credit cards. It was truly fun to experience traveling like a local in Bangkok after work, since we still had office training together.
