The Michigan Department of Lifelong, Education, Advancement, and Potential (MiLEAP) announced changes that will extend financial child care assistance to more Michigan families on Monday, March 4. During the webinar, Lisa Brewer-Walraven, MiLEAP Director of Child Development and Care, Emily Laidlaw, Office of Early Childhood Education Team Leader and Director of the Child Care Licensing Bureau, Sacha Klein, Early Childhood Investment Corporation Senior Director of Policy & Advocacy and parent leaders of Think Babies Michigan spoke about the impact of these changes. Attendees received resources to help communicate the child care scholarship expansion with families and fellow early childhood professionals.
