IN LOVING MEMORY OF FAITH KALONDU MUSEMBI

EULOGY
BIRTH
The late Faith Kalondu Musembi was born on 23/7/2005 at Kisekini village, Nduu sub-location, Mutituni Location in Machakos county. She was the first born daughter to Boniface Musembi Ndunda and Judy Mukulu Musembi. She was sister to Obama Musembi and Gloria Mutanu. She was granddaughter to late James Ndunda Musembi, late Eva Kalondu Ndunda and Margaret Mbithi. She was niece to Mwikali, Leah, Kalekye, Mambo, late Mwanza, Paul, Joseph, Stella, Josephine, Samuel, John etc. She was cousin to Shadrack Mungui, Dennis Mutiva, Mary, Ndunda, Grace, Felister, Mathew, Brilliant, Judy, Moses among others.
EDUCATION
The late Faith after attaining school going age she joined Kisekini Primary School in 2011 and did her K.C.P.E in 2018. She joined St. Catherine Lema Girls in 2019 and did her K.C.S.E in 2022. In 2023 she enrolled for a computer course at Don Bosco Boys Centre in Karen. This year 2024 she joined Mount Kenya University for a course in Health Records and Information. Till her untimely demise she was a first year student.
CHRISTIAN LIFE
The late Faith was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church Kisekini where she was baptized on 4/4/2015 and confirmed on 2/10/2016. She was an active youth member where she was serving as the Secretary and Moderator. She attended youth forums in Nzaikoni Parish level i.e. lastly on 31/12/2023.
DEMISE
On Wednesday 8/05/2024 at around 7.30pm Faith’s mother received a call through Faith’s mobile phone by unknown person demanding a certain amount of money in order to rescue her daughter’s life of which she send. Faith’s father immediately rushed to Thika Police Station and reported the matter as well as Mount Kenya University the same night. The following day 9/05/2024 they found her dead in her house. She died at the age of 19 years.
