This video shows you how to safely disconnect the high-voltage battery that powers the motors and the drive train using the VT750LCD 2-Pole Voltage Tester. You want to start with a Live-Dead-Live test to make sure the meter is operating correctly. By having a dedicated 2-pole setup, it is impossible to get incorrect readings caused by test leads incorrectly connected. The VT750LCD also doesn't require a battery to read voltage.
The VT750LCD is a compact reliable robust automatic voltage tester up to 750V. The testers can measure and indicate the exact voltage (AC/DC), phase indication, phase rotation and continuity, RCD, and resistance via an LCD.
