I said I would revisit this fight and here's what I've come up with. For the first three enemies, you can save a noticeable amount of knife durability by aiming for their heads and going for kicks rather than going for the suplex like I did in my previous video on this fight. The movement I use to lure the female ganado from the upper floor also seems to be more consistent now. Dealing with the armored Garrador plays out largely the same, but I was able to kill him a little faster than last time. I still think that dumping the 8 kitchen knives you get from the village into him is the best way to put him down. The good news is that you are very much able to save all of these knives by not letting them break during the cabin fight. You can still use them to get one knife prompt out of them, but no more than that. In my testing I have found that to be definitely doable.
The last Garrador is dealt with by reusing my strategy from when I fought the single Garrador in the dungeon. You want to start off by getting a knife prompt on him though, because he doesn't behave in the way that we want until you do. After that it all comes down to your parry skills. I've found it to be much safer to attack the Garradors after a parry as opposed to just waiting for them to whiff an attack. While stunned from the parry they can't immediately attack you, so you'll be safe even if you miss the parasite with your first swing. You also need to make sure you aren't parrying him in the direction of the other enemies. This can be a risk since the parry will always knock him back. Luring him to the part of the room that I did will fix this issue.
It was surprising to find out that the combat knife durability can handle all of this. I think it can have enough durability leftover to get you through the few Novistadors in the sewer right after this part too. The main benefit though is the preservation of your boot knives. As far as I know, there are only four guaranteed boot knives you can get before Salazar. One is at the start of the castle sequence, one is a slightly damaged one in the Double Garrador room, one is in Verdugo's room and one is inside of the Krauser knife fight. Sure, it's not that hard to get extra knives from random drops, but I think it's good that all of these knives can now be guaranteed as Salazar will require every last one.
