Rabdi is a rich, and creamy dessert, and is very popular in the Indian subcontinent. It’s made by simmering milk for a long time until it thickens and becomes creamy. If you follow this recipe, you don’t have to cook it for long time: it’s instantly cooked and taste like authentic rabdi. Serve rabdi chilled on its own or as a compliment to other sweets like jalebi, emarti, malpua, or gulab jamun.
Ingredients:
Whole milk - 1 1/2 Lt.
Milk powder - 1/2 cup
Ghee - ~2 tbsp
Bread slices - 3-4
Sugar - 1/4 cup
Rose water - ~2 tbsp
Pistachio & rose petals - for garnishing (optional)
