Tie-dye pattern : Pink Passion Mandala

Today I am demonstrating how to tie-dye a pink passion mandala pattern on a tapestry using liquid procion dyes. This is a step by step tie-dye tutorial video where we cover the entire process beginning with the folding and drawing of our mandala outline on the tapestry using a washable marker. After that we tie up the tapestry using sinew and kite string and apply the liquid procion dyes to the tapestry. To finish up we let the tapestry sit undisturbed for 24 hours, give it a good rinse, and jump right on into the reveal our new pink passion mandala tie-dye tapestry. ***Before working with procion dyes or any kind of fiber reactive dye please make sure to pay special attention to all labels including directions, warnings, and first aid instructions***. I highly recommend gloves, eye protection, and a respirator or dust mask per these instructions.
