Ingredients required to make Paneer Biryani:
Curd
Cut onions
Tomato puree
Red chili powder
Garam masala
Biryani masala
Turmeric powder
Coriander powder
Ginger garlic paste
Coriander leaves
Mint leaves
Salt
Star anise
Black pepper
Clove
Cardamom
Black cardamom
Cinnamon
Cinnamon leaf
Green chilies
Dried fenugreek leaves
3/4 Paneer
3 cups Basmati rice
Ghee
Cashews
Saffron
Cumin seeds
Method:
First wash the basmati rice cleanly and keep it emersed in water for half an hour.
The next step is to create the masala for biryani.
Add a small bowl of oil in the pan on the stove to heat up.
Make onion puree from the cut onions using a mixer grinder.
Once the oil is hot, add 1/2 tsp cumin seeds, cinnamon, 1 black cardamom, 3 cardamoms, 3 cloves, 3 black peppers, 1 star anise, 2 cinnamon leaves, onion puree into it.
Fry until the onion puree turns brown and add ginger garlic paste into the mixture.
Fry it well and add red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, and tomato puree to the mixture.
Cook it well.
Now, add biryani masala and fry it well while constantly stirring.
Add coriander leaves, mint leaves, and salt to taste.
Add 2 green chilies to the mixture and also add curd, and keep stirring.
Now, add dried fenugreek leaves.
The next step is to boil basmati rice.
Take a big container and boil the water.
Once, the water is boiling hot, add cinnamon leaf, cinnamon, black cardamom, cardamom, black pepper, clove, star anise, green chilies, cumin seeds, salt, 1 tsp ghee.
Add lemon juice in water along with coriander leaves.
Add basmati rice and let it boil for 10 to 15 minutes.
Now, the next step is to fry paneer.
Cut the panner in big square chunks and and sprinkle red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt on it.
Keep it aside for 10 to 15 minutes.
Now, it is time to fry this paneer.
Add 2 tsp oil in the pan and fry paneer slowly and gently.
It is time to layer the biryani now.
Put a container on the stove with low flame.
Add 1 tsp ghee, and add a layer of entire masala that we prepared.
Now, add coriander and mint leaves along with onion barista to it.
Add a layer of boiled basmati rice on top of it.
Add some ghee.
Add a layer of fried paneer.
Add one more layer of boiled basmati rice.
Add coriander and mint leaves along with onion barista and ghee to it.
Add all the remaining boiled basmati rice.
Again add coriander and mint leaves along with onion barista and ghee to it.
Add saffron, cashews, and 2 big spoons of water that is remained behind after boiling basmati rice and let the biryani cook on low flame for 10 minutes.
Your delicious Paneer Biryani is ready.
