Rafnar 1100 Being Capsized - Self-righting Certification

We do not only make the toughest boats but we also have the toughest clients. This certified special service craft, ICE-SAR Rafnar 1100 just spent it's day getting rolled for a Lloyd's self-righting certification.

The true purpose of any boat is to safely bring those onboard back from every trip and therefore it is important that it is among other things self-righting. Below is a video from the trials yesterday. On the scene were representatives from ICE-SAR, Lloyds, The Icelandic Transport Authorities and Maritime Inspectors of Iceland.
